Sketch #2 for Angkor Wat

Returning from a trip to Cambodia, the images of the ancient Khmer Empire temples of Angkor Wat remain indelible in my mind. Here we see a view from an upper gallery window looking north into the surrounding forests of Siam Reap, Cambodia. A solitary buddhist monk walks below in the alleys between the galleries.
